Minimizing Tiles Maintenance

Although tiles are known to be among the lowest-maintenance materials available for residential and commercial building structures, regular clean-up is still a must. Cleaning the tiled wall, floor, or kitchen counter on a regular basis will lengthen the life span and the premium appearance of the tiles.

Hi I have a shower that has a small leak .I suspect there may be a few issues.Can you regrout and seal the shower as well as remove the glass door and make sure the frame is waterproofed.

Hello,

First you need to figure it out where the leaks are coming from.

If the leaking is just around the glass wall it might be old silicone issue.

If the shower base is damaged and the water goes through the shower base and water is coming out into the bathroom I would suggest removing the tiles, rebuilding the shower base, re-waterproofing and installing new tiles. You can not fix this with re-grouting.

In order to remove and reinstall the shower glass you have to contact a shower installation expert. After the glass is reinstalled I could seal it silicone but usually they do that as well.
